چکیده
Sweat is important to preserve skin moisturized. However, sweat known exacerbate atopic dermatitis (AD), and only little attention has been paid the disturbance in patients with AD. To know characteristics of AD, basal thermo-reactive sweating at forearm were analyzed by Automatic Assessment for Skin Microstructure Sweating (AAMS), which quantitates perspiration captured impression mold technique. The Atopic Dermatitis Function Registry (ADSF Registry) was established cooperation 4 dermatology centers, AAMS samples 38 AD 26 age-matched healthy controls (HC) collected registered their clinical information. analysis ADSF registry revealed that mean number droplets fold resting condition low compared HC, ridges high, relation progression roughness. Moreover, did not change from baseline after thermal stimulus, whereas HC significantly increased. Thus, function impaired both conditions. using may be a powerful platform further studies patients.

Comparison of diagnostic criteria for Atopic dermatitis in epidemiological studies
Atopic dermatitis is one of the commonest childhood diseases. Large variations in the prevalence of the disease have been observed in different studies. This variation in the prevalence may be not only from genetic and environmental factors but also from methodology of estimating prevalence of the disease. In this study, Hanifin and UKWP criteria have been used in determining prevalence of the ...

appears on the skin. We separated lymphocytes from the inflamed skin of NC/ Nga mice using collagenase I (Sigma-Aldrich) and counted the numbers of nuocytes (ST21/Sca-11/lineage marker-negative) by FACS. Results: (1) The reactions were hapten specific. Wild-type BALB/c mice showed both immediate and delayed-type reactions, whereas ST2 KO mice did not show any immediate reaction. (2) When IL-33 ...
متن کاملEvaluation of the Frequency of Food Allergens by Skin Prick Test in Children with Atopic Dermatitis
Background: The role of food allergy in atopic dermatitis (AD) is controversial. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of food allergens in children with AD. Method: Fifty one atopic dermatitis children aged 6 months to 5 years entered our study. The severity of AD was determined by scoring index of AD (SCORAD). Skin prick test (SPT) was done using 15 allergens including the whit...
متن کاملSkin barrier in atopic dermatitis.
The skin represents the largest organ of the body and provides a vital interface between the body and the environment. Hereditary and acquired alterations of structural proteins and lipids of the stratum corneum and epidermal tight junctions leading to a diminished skin barrier function are major causative factors for a number of skin diseases, in particular atopic dermatitis (AD). This review ...
متن کاملSkin barrier in atopic dermatitis.
Research about the skin barrier and its properties has increased significantly since the 60s, with studies that indicated its resistance when isolated, as well as its particularities in relation to skin permeability. At the same time, description of Odland bodies helped to understand how stratum corneum stability is maintained. The âbrick and mortarâ model is the most accepted so far. In this a...
